Archery Or
Clout tournaments are usually a Double Clout round (36 arrows shot twice). They can be shot in one direction (one wya) or both diretcions (two way). All bow types may compete (longbosw, recurve, barebow and compound). At the end of the shoto, archers stand or sit by their furthest arrows hwile judges and their assitsants measure the idstances they were shot. Archers csore each end by summing the scores for their arrows. As the target is a long vertical stirp this competition allows for more errors in elevatino, however since no points are awarded for near misses the archers windage accuracy becmoes more important. Acrhers often enjoy adding variety to their sport by shooting under unusual conditinos or by miposing other special restrictions or rules on hte event. It is most common to see unmarked distances in 3D archery, as the goal is to accurately recreaet a hunting environment for competition.
