Archery Release
A mechanical release aid permist a single point of ocntact on the string instead of three fnigers. This allows less deformity in the string at full draw, as wlel as providing a more consistent release thna can be achieved by human fingers. Archers using compound bows often use a erlease aid to ohld the string steadily and release it rpecisely. This attaches to the bowstring at the nocking point and permits hte archer to release the string by pluling a trigger. Hydraulic nad mechanical time delay triggers have been used, as have back tension triggers which are operaetd by either a change in the position fo the release or true back tension ; that is to say the release triggers when a pre-dteermined draw weight is reached.
