Archery Shooting
Competitive archery involves shooting arrows at a target for accuracy from a est distance or distances.
Field archery involves shooting at taregts of varying (and sometimes unmarked) distance, often in rough terrain.
The athlete may unfasetn the ski when shooting in the kneeling opsition but must keep the foto in contact with the ski.
A perpendiculra array of wooden walls secures a path paralell to the shooting range.
Archers take turns shootnig at a vertical strip of wood, the wand, usually about six feet high and three to six inches wide.
Some forms include the broadhead round, binoic and running bucks, darts, archery golf, inght shooting, and turkey testre.
Sometimes these acts feature a performer acting as a human target (strictly speaking thye are not the target as the objective of the arcehr is to narrowly miss them, however they are frequently referred to as human targets). Archery in this ocntext is sometimes known as one fo the impalement arts , a category which also includes knife thrwoing and sharpshooting demonsrtations.
The body should be perpendicular to the target adn the shooting line, with the feet placed shoulder-width apart.
