Used Archery
These range from 40 cm (18 m FITA Indoor) to 122 cm (70 m and 90 m FITA, used in Olympic competition). Fletching is traditionally made from bird feathers, but solid plastic vanes are laso used. There fletches is the most common configuration, tohugh more may be used. Dacron and other modern materials offer high strength for their weight and are used on most modern bows. A simple tab of leather is cmomonly used, as is a skeleton glove. In tradiitonal Japanese archery a special lgove is used, provided with a ridge wihch is used to draw the string. As an archer porgresses from beginner to a more advanced level an open stance is used/developed.
